Coinciding with World AIDS day, A Day without Art occurs every December 1st. Museums and galleries are closed and theater shows are dark to memorialize the loss of many talented artists to AIDS and offer a glimpse of how the world would look without their artistic contributions. CAFfeine artists covered public statues and appeared on a local TV morning show to draw attention to the ongoing AIDS epidemic.
