Wasted Wine wastedwine.com		CAFfeine was introduced to Freak Folk duo Robert Gowan and Adam Murphree - better known as Wasted Wine - when they served as the "backup band" at our first show. They've played every CAFfeine event since, including collaborations with the artists in December 2008 and coming up in November 2009. Both musicians play multiple instruments during their acoustic shows, and the lyrics of their original songs indicate that they are two fairly twisted individuals. In a good way.

Thomas Creek thomascreekbeer.com		Though the name CAFfeine indicates a love of coffee, in reality most of us prefer beer. And Thomas Creek makes some of the best beer you'll ever taste. Artisphere artisphere.us		Spring in Greenville means Artisphere! Combining visual, performing, and culinary artis into one great festival, Artisphere 2009 will be happening this May 8th-10th. CAFfeine artists Lynn Gree & Judy Verhoeven will have booths during the festival. Also, be sure to see the Artists of the Upstate juried competition at Centre Stage, featuring CAFfeine artists Robert Urban and Eileen Powell along with Lynn and Judy.

Pickens County Museum Juried Artists Competition co.pickens.sc.us		The Pickens County Museum of Art & History's Thirtieth Annual Juried South Carolina Artists Competition is open to all living South Carolina artists, 18 years of age or older, working in any medium. The exhibition resulting from this competition will open with a gala reception and awards ceremony on April 18 and will continue through June 11.
