HEAVEN IS JUST A STONE’S THROW AWAY:
TABLE ROCK TOSS,
Acrylic on wood, by Allen Coleman
|
$1800
|
Like much of my work dealing with the attainment of goals, this work depicts yet another attempt. The act of throwing is “aiming” towards some goal or another. Whether it is to ring the basket, nail the bulls-eye, strike out the batter or blow up your enemy there is an objective to the act… a desired result. The question remains as to if that realized intention is Heavenly or Hellish for the one throwing or for those on the receiving end of that toss.

HEAVEN IS JUST A STONE’S THROW AWAY:
FOREST FLING,
Acrylic on wood, by Allen Coleman |
$2200

Like much of my work dealing with the attainment of goals, this work depicts yet another attempt. This simplest of tasks, the skyward lob of a ball, is an unobtainable effort to breech the walls of Heaven; unless of course, the Graces are playing under the loving watch of the Trinity.
